Campaign Creation in TikTok's Backend Is Tedious
Product and live promotions have different setup flows. In TikTok's backend, the settings, parameter names, and UI layouts differ between the two. Easy to get confused.
Promotion day settings are buried. During a major sale event, adjusting ROAS strategy means navigating through layers of menus.
Bulk creation? Nope. One campaign at a time, starting from scratch each time.
AdRate handles both product and live promotions in a unified interface. Key parameters on one page. For bulk needs, pair this with Batch Creation to submit dozens at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between GMV Max and standard TikTok ads?
GMV Max is TikTok Shop's dedicated e-commerce ad format. It auto-optimizes bids and creative allocation to maximize GMV (gross merchandise value). You set ROAS and budget; TikTok's algorithm handles the rest. Standard ads require manual audience, placement, and bidding configuration.
What ROAS target should I set?
Depends on your profit margin. If your margin is 40%, you need at least 2.5 ROAS to break even. Start conservatively with new campaigns and adjust after data accumulates. AdRate's Auto Rules can dynamically adjust ROAS based on live performance.
What does "pause after creation" mean?
The campaign is submitted to TikTok but doesn't start spending. Useful for pre-configuring campaigns and launching them at the right moment.
What are promotion days for?
During major sales events (Black Friday, Singles' Day), competition intensifies. Promotion days let you set higher ROAS multipliers and budget increases to maintain visibility during peak periods.
Can I only create one campaign at a time?
This feature handles single campaign creation. For creating dozens of campaigns at once (e.g., one per product), use Batch Creation.
